Metaio has been an industry leader in the field of Augmented Reality for quite some time and has had 2 very impressive products in the form of the Basic and Pro versions of their Mobile SDK.

However, for many projects the pricing of those libs was a bit on the steep side, but that has changed!

The Pro SDK went down from €19.900 (roughly $25.900) to €4.950 (roughly $6.500)
The Basic SDK from  €4.950 (roughly $6.500) to € 2.990 (roughly $3.900)

These are expenses you pay once and that allow you to use the SDK in as many apps as you want.

This makes it more feasible for developers to get their hands dirty with Augmented Reality and releasing serious projects without watermarks.

Note: The license purchaser is the only one who can release apps with it. You are not allowed to develop apps with your license that get released by your customers. For that, they would have to buy their own license.

Unfortunately the more “newbie friendly” Junaio SDK is still € 9.950 per app, per year!
