According to a report from VisionGain that’s been summarized by sys-con.com on their website, the current global AR Market is being valued at only US $21 Million.

All in all the article reveals little new information but what I do find interesting to see mentioned again is the growth forecast of AR powered applications.

Yet another report showing that AR is on the rise and that now is the time to enter the AR market. Especially since the AR market still has a huge “wow” factor that can be taken advantage of very easily by piggy backing on the technology from low-threshold applications such as Layar, Junaio and Blippar.
